World Environment Day was established by the General Assembly of the United Nations and has been celebrated each June 5 since 1973.
Here an information I heard on the news that I think is very good to follow.
Three months since President Hugo Chávez passed away, on World Environment Day, the Venezuelan people are holding a tree planting event in honor of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution and his efforts as the country’s first leader to defend Mother Earth.
In the testament left behind by Hugo Chávez in the Plan of the Nation states; “take care of the environment and begin to build ecological awareness,”
This is a good idea for the entire world. What if one day in the entire world every person over 10 would use that day June 5 is a good day, to plant trees?
Would you imagine the impact on the planet?
